What is XTERRA?
XTERRA is a series of off-road races, including triathlon (swim/mountain bike/trail run), ocean swims and trail running. Or more simply put, it’s an epic off-road experience that will rock your world!

7:15a.m. > XTERRA 6k Trail Run
8:00 a.m. > Wave 1 – XTERRA Long Course – Male/Female under 45 + Relays + SwimRun (all ages) / Open Water Swim (all ages)
8:05 a.m. > Wave 2 – XTERRA Long Course – Male/Female 45 and up
8:25 a.m. > Wave 3 – XTERRA Short Course – Male/Female under 40 + Relays
8:30 a.m. > Wave 4 – XTERRA Short Course – Male/Female 40 and up

2022 XTERRA TRIATHLON POINTS
The top 15 finishers in each Age Group for the Triathlon earn points toward becoming Regional Champions.
All Regional Champions earn a qualifying spot to the 2023 XTERRA World Championship.

Directions & Parking
The event is at CRYSTAL COVE STATE PARK, just 10 minutes south of Newport Beach in Orange County, CA. The park is located off Pacific Coast Highway between Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach, California with easy access from I-5, 405 and 73.
From the 405 South, take the 73 South to Macarthur Blvd. Take this to PCH and go south to El Moro/Crystal Cove State Park. Turn left into the park and follow the signs! Parking is now $15.00 at the State Parks. Correct change is appreciated. Support your State Parks and park in the lots (and don’t park in the dirt)!
From South OC – take PCH to the Park. Or the 73 Toll Road if you wish (exit El Toro and take this to Laguna Beach). Once you reach PCH – turn north to Crystal Cove State Park.
