The 2023 Tri Blossomwood:
TRIblossomwood is excited to be back, celebrating our fourth year for this fun kids triathlon in the quiet Blossomwood neighborhood of Huntsville, Alabama.
With four age divisions, even the little bitties can join in on the fun. This is a reverse triathlon (run, then bike, then swim) on neighborhood streets.
And, if your child is new to triathlon, we have a full week of training leading up to the event to prepare them for the big day!

- 3:00pm - 4:00pm PELICAN Clinic
- 4:00pm - 5:00pm SHARPFIN Clinic
- 5:15pm - 6:15pam YELLOWSTRIPE/SAWTOOTH Clinic
Monday July 24-Thursday July 27
- Tentative training schedule: Monday-Thursday 10:30-12:30 starting at Blossomwood Pool. We will be utilizing the Blossomwood Elementary Track for transition, bike skill training and running. Pool time is pending agreement with Blossomwood Pool
Thursday July 27
- 1:30pm - 5:00pm PACKET PICK UP and Helmet Check at Bicycle Cove
Friday July 28
- 12:30pm - 5:00pm PACKET PICK UP and Helmet Check at Bicycle Cove
Saturday July 29 --RACE DAY!!--
- 6:30 am - Check In (Helmet check prior to check in is Mandatory. ALL participants must check in, have emergency contact phone number ready)
- 6:40 am - Transition opens
- 7:40 am - Transition closes
- 7:45 am - Mandatory athlete briefing
- 8:00 am - PELICAN RACE STARTS!!! (parents are not allowed in transition unless signed up to volunteer)
- The SAWTOOTH race will start after the Pelican race is over
- The YELLOWSTRIPE race will start after the SAWTOOTH race is over
- The SHARPFIN race will start after the YELLOWSTRIPE race is over
- AWARDS will be given out about 20 minutes after the SHARPFIN race is over
