Sprint Triathlon
400 Yard Swim, 12 Mile Bike, 3.1 Mile Run
Swim
The swim is 400 yards with two right turns at the large orange bouys, then back to shore and a short run across the beach to the transition area. The beach area has a sandy bottom where you will enter and exit the water.
Bike
The bike is a 12 mile loop that is flat and fast and will take you along the Indiana-Michigan State line.
Run
The run is 3.1 miles that will take you out along Heaton Lake, over a toll-road over pass and through an industrial park where there will be a turn-a-round and then right back along the same route.
