Saturday - SEPTEMBER 9, 2023
2009 marked the first year of the San Diego Triathlon Classic. When Moment Bicycles first decided to put this race together, they wanted to make a first class venue for both participants and spectators alike.
The goal is to challenge each participant and have them leave with not only a feeling of accomplishment but also an appreciation for all that San Diego has to offer…and maybe make a little San Diego triathlon history in the process.
Calm Bay Swim, Ride through a national park, and a run course spread out over historic NTC/Liberty Station, we are sure this is an event you will not forget.

Note for Aquabike: After your bike, you will dismount just before the dismount sign. When you cross the “Bike in” timing mat, this ends your race. Rack your bike then come to the finish line to get your medal, post race food and enjoy the beer garden if your over 21.

3. Left at Lytton St – (there is an ARCO station on your left)
4. Right at Truxtun Rd and enter Liberty Station (near Sail Ho Golf Course)
5. Follow the one-way street straight to the stop sign at Sims Rd
6. Left onto Sims Rd
7. Right onto Historic Decatur Rd
8. Left into Parking Lot I (the McMillin building lot)
9. If Lot I is full, continue on Historic Decatur Road to Parking Lot F on left (BAE Systems lot)
FROM I-5 HEADING NORTH
1. 5 North
2. Exit Pacific Coast Hwy
3. Left on Barnett Ave
4. Left at Truxtun Rd and enter Liberty Station (near Sail Ho Golf Course)
5. Follow the one-way street straight to the stop sign at Sims Rd
6. Left onto Sims Rd
7. Right onto Historic Decatur Rd
8. Left into Parking Lot I (the McMillin building lot)
9. If Lot I is full, continue on Historic Decatur Rd to Parking Lot F on left (BAE Systems lot)
FROM DOWNTOWN OR THE SAN DIEGO AIRPORT
1. N Harbor Dr past airport to Laning Rd
2. Make a right on Laning Rd*
3. Right on Historic Decatur Rd
4. Follow Historic Decatur Rd to the stop sign, Womble Rd, and go straight approx 500 feet
5. Right into parking Lot F (BAE Systems lot)
6. If Lot F is full, continue on Historic Decatur Rd to Parking Lot I on right (the McMillin building lot)
*Note: Lanning Rd will be closed to through-traffic once the race begins.
FROM I-8 WEST
1. Rosecrans St exit
2. Left at Lytton St – (there is an ARCO station on your left)

Traffic delays due to race course setup will begin at 4:30 AM on race day. Road closures will begin at approximately 6:00 AM on race day. No parking on the race course, where indicated, goes into effect at 3:00 AM. Roads will reopen on a rolling basis, beginning at approximately 9:30 AM
