_The 2022 Bucks County Duathlon:

The USAT-sanctioned Bucks County Duathlon consists of a two-mile run, a 10-mile bike and a two-mile run contested over the Washington Crossing Historic Park grounds and surrounding roads. The two run segments incorporate the WCHP trails as well as the Delaware Canal towpath. The bike segment includes five miles of out-and-back on flat, fast River Road (Rt. 32) as well as five miles of moderate hills traversing Stoneybrook, Slack and Eagle roads in Upper Makefield Township. 

Roads are open during the bike segment and proper caution must be exercised. All intersections are monitored by police and/or fire police personnel. >Parking officially opens at 5 a.m. Transition and registration areas open at 5:30 a.m. 

Packets will be available for pickup at Newtown Bike Shop, 30 North State Street, Newtown, Pa. 18940 the week of Aug. 26, 2022 through Sept. 1 during store hours, Monday through Saturday. Additionally, for those traveling from afar, packets will be made available the morning of the race. 

No entrant may pick up a race packet or register for someone else (USAT rules). You must show valid ID to pick up race packet All racers must have a one-day or annual USAT license. If you don't have one, you may purchase one at registration through LinMark Sports or during registration. >Timing and results are provided by LinMark Sports. 

Awards: Age group prizes for top three finishers in women’s and men’s five-year divisions. Trophies for the top finishers. >Food and beverages offered post-race. Water provided pre-race and at transition points. 

Event will be held unless conditions prevail which may cause dangerous and unsafe hazards (such as lightning or flooding) for the entrants. Should that happen and the event is canceled, there are NO refunds or credits. Entrants by entering this race assume the risk of the event being canceled without a refund due to unforeseen conditions.
