In 2022 The Longest Day Adventure Race will be hosted in the rocky and intricate terrain of Western Connecticut! Teams of 2-4 can expect to mountain bike, trek and paddle through a linear modified rogaine course which is being designed for teams of all abilities. This year we are introducing packrafting for the first time in a NYARA race! all paddling through the race will be on packrafts on flatwater. We are working with packraft rental companies to provide rentals for those who do not yet own a packraft. Unfortunately our permitting does not allow for solo racers for this event. This race will feature Live Tracking for your friends and family at home! The course we designed will be a challenge both for experienced racers and new folks alike so don’t shy away if you’re just starting out in AR, we’ve got something for everyone! Race Course Highlights: • Strategic route planning • Pre-plotted maps • Scenic and challenging terrain • Killer post-race feed This year’s race is will take place in brand new AR Territory… At least to our knowledge.
