_2022 Lyseth 5k Fun Run/Walk/KidsRun
The Lyseth Elementary School PTA is thrilled to once again hold its annual 5K Run/Walk/KidsRun on Saturday, May 21. This family-friendly event has something for everyone, with proceeds going towards the most urgent needs in the school community, including classroom supplies, curriculum supports, programs, and technology. The course winds through quiet, less traveled roads of Portland's North Deering Neighborhoods. From start to finish, walkers and runners alike will enjoy the community feel as neighborhood residents come out to cheer us on! Kids (K-5) can enjoy a free half-mile Fun Run to kick off the event at 9:30 a.m. with the 5k starting at 10 a.m. Lots of great prizes will be given out -- not only for top runners in their age groups, but for many fun categories, such as first Lyseth teacher/staff member, first costume, first pet, and first stroller. Register by Monday, April 25, to guarantee a race shirt in your preferred size. Online registration will end at midnight on Thursday, May 19. In case you miss the deadline, you will still be able to register on race day, Saturday, May 21, from 8:30-9:30am. We hope you can join us!
