The 2022 McMinnville Triathlon:
The City of McMinnville Triathlon is a sprint style race that will have participants swim, cycle, and run through beautiful areas of Warren County, Tennessee. The event begins with a 400 meter swim at the McMinnville Parks and Recreation's Gilley Pool (50 m lap lanes). Once out of the pool, the race will take you into the county on an 18 mile ride before returning you to the event facilities for a 5 kilometer run.
Packet Pick-up will Be Friday August the 26th starting at... 4:00pm - 7:00pm Day of the Triathlon Registration and Packet Pick-up will start at... 6:00am - 7:30am The Transition Area and Pool will Open at...6:30am RACE STARTS at 8:00am
After the race join us for some complimentary food, drinks and beer for the Race Participants and Guests. Come hangout for a bit and sit by the pool and relax & recover! :) Awards will be poolside beginning around 11:00 am You and your family can then enjoy large Gilley pool FREE of Charge
Course Information:
This event is a SPRINT Triathlon for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced Triathletes 400 Meter Pool Swim 18 Mile Bike 5K Run The swim will be in a 50 meter pool exiting through a zero entry. Quick run to the Transition area then, Bike Out into the gentle rolling hills of Warren County. There are also several flats. The Run portion will take you through a neighborhood surrounding the Civic Center with little traffic and some rolling hills.
