_ The 2022 Great Snake River Triathlon:
The GREAT SNAKE River Triathlon once again returns to the Snake River in Idaho Falls on August 13th, 2022. This race will be staged at South Tourist Park and held in conjunction with the GREAT SNAKE GREENBELT DUCK RACE. The race will begin with a swim in the Snake River (yes…downstream!) This is a perfect race to take advantage of the river current to aid in the swim, then a mostly flat bike and run course. This race will include both a SPRINT & OLYMPIC distances with a race ceremony immediately following the race. Stick around after the race for a pizza lunch and then enjoy the festivities of the GREAT SNAKE GREENBELT DUCK RACE… and maybe you could win a vehicle they give away in addition to the race! This is usually the second busiest weekend in Idaho Falls…happening on August 13th, 2022. At this event, we will be giving out awards for those triathletes who have completed a TRIFECTA of at least 3 TRI Peaks Epic Event courses in 2022!
