_ The 2022 Murphysboro Mud Monster:
The Murphysboro Mud Monster is an Obstacle & Mud Challenge taking place at scenic Riverside Park in Murphysboro, Illinois, on May 14th 2022.
Gates open and on-site registration begin 7:30 a.m. with running heats starting at 9 a.m. until the final group at 10 a.m.
Experience over 12 obstacles along the approximate 5 kilometer route. Obstacles can include mud trenches, ropes, low crawls, slip & slides, teamwork challenges and of course, MUD!
Food and drink will be available for purchase on-site.
The price will start at $45 for the early birds through March 1st, $60 through May 5th, and $75 until race day. The first 50 sign-ups receive an exclusive Murphysboro Mud Monster T-shirt. Additional swag for all runners. Participants must be 13 years or older with a parent or guardian's permission and signed waiver. Runners 21 and over will receive one (1) beer ticket to celebrate their accomplishment.
