Come enjoy the beautiful scenery of Clinton Lake with the Clinton Community YMCA's Sprint Triathlon / Duathlon! Make it a weekend getaway and camp at Clinton Lake SRA (Mascoutin) campground. Plenty of great outdoor recreation to enjoy before and after the race event!
Course Information:
Sprint Tri:
- open water swim along Clinton Lake Beach (Mascoutin) = 300 yards
- Water temp typically between 77-85 degrees
- Bike = 13 miles
- road surface (majority flat)
- Run = 3.1 miles
- trail run along the lake and through house boat cove
- Clean grass mowed trail; portions of the run are on pavement.
- very few inclines
Duathlon:
- Run = 3.1 miles
- trail run along the lake and through house boat cove
- Clean grass mowed trail; portions of the run are on pavement.
- very few inclines
- Bike = 13 miles (Same route as Sprint Tri)
- 2nd run = 1.5 miles
- main paved road that goes through the park (flat)
