Course Information:
Swim:
The swim will be in the beautiful Rappahannock River, it is typically calm, peaceful, and best of all - NO JELLYFISH OR NETTLES!
- - - Bike:
The bike course is rural and with some challenging hills, through Westmoreland and Richmond Counties.
There will be no Gatorade/H2O bottle handoff on the bike course.
- - - Run:
The run is a flat sunny 10k on rural roads.
The run course will offer water and Endurance formula Gatorade @ each stop.

- - - From Richmond:
Take the Tappahannock exit from I 295 in Mechanicsville east on RT 360 ( it seems like it would be north, but sign says east!).
Follow 360 all the way to Tappahannock, approximately 40 minutes. Bear left at the light Tappahannock Blvd, this is Rt 360 and RT 17.
Take a right in the middle of town on Queen St (RT 360), look for the Jake and Ellwood statues on your left at the Antique store!
Cross the Thomas Downing Bridge over the Rappahannock River. Take a left on Rt 624/Newland Rd (gray & white building on the corner called Immortal Ink).
Left on Naylors Beach RD, go 4 miles, left at the stop sign, this is Naylors Campground.
- - - From DC/Fredericksburg:
95 south, take Rt 3 heading south/east to Warsaw. Turn right onto 360 south/west, Bank on the corner.
Drive approximately 3 miles, right onto Rt 624/Newland Rd (gray & white building on the corner called Immortal Ink).
Left on Naylors Beach RD, go 4 miles, left at the stop sign, this is Naylors Campground.
- - - From VA Beach/Williamsburg:
64 east to 295 toward DC. Take the Tappahannock exit from I 295 in Mechanicsville east on RT 360 (seems as though its north).
Follow 360 all the way to Tappahannock, approximately 40 minutes. Bear left at the light Tappahannock Blvd, this is Rt 360 and RT 17.
