- This event is for all women, regardless of age-color-religion-ability-weight-whatever "label" that exists... just doesnt matter.
- All chics, sisters, moms, grandmoms, do your first tri, your 50th tri, do a relay team, show off, be happy, be alive!
- We are very excited to announce Richmonds first all womens sprint triathlon with all male volunteers!
- This event benefits the Bright Beginnings Back to School Program of YMCA Giving Campaign.
- There are divisions for everyone. Individual, relays, athena ( over 150lbs), and aquabike (swim-bike only).
- The lotus flower is symbolic of life itself, spiritual awakening, beauty, and openess to new possibilities.

Course Information:
- The Inaugural Pink Power Sprint Triathlon will be located at the Midlothian YMCA and consists of a 400 meter pool swim, 11 mile bike and 5k run.
- The swim is in a 25 meter indoor pool. The bike is on road, rolling, 11 miles through Chesterfield county! The run route will go through adjoining neighborhoods.
