On April 15, 2012, the 2nd annual Brooklyn Bun will race through Brooklyns Prospect Park. The course will take participants on a counterclockwise circuit of the Parks internal roads. Leading off the event is a 20k bike comprised of 4 counterclockwise loops on Prospect Park's Main Drive; a time-trial bike start will send athletes off at 10 second intervals. This will minimize congestion at the start and still allow for superb, chip-timed competition. Once athletes complete the bike segment they will transition to a 5K run, which is one counterclockwise loop of the Park's Main Drive and finish in the Bartel Lot.
