Way Over Yonder 5th Annual Multisport Off Road Festival:
The 2021 edition was the USA Triathlon Off-Road National Championships.
The host park, Wawayanda, is one of the most majestic parks in the Northeast. Wawayanda is comprosed of 34,350 acres and features over 40 miles of trails and a crystal clear 255 acre lake. You’ll love swimming in the lake and the amazing views while riding your bike and trail running.
For 2022, we’re dialing back the distance on the MTB Courses from the National Championship edition, but keeping the best of Wawayanda’s techy singletrack goodness. Long is now 12 Miles and Sprint 6 Miles.
Super excited to announce the addition of a full range of Gravel Multisport events to this year’s festival. Our Gravel Multisport events have been in development over the past two years. With all the kudos we’ve gotten from our Jersey Gravel Grinders, it just made sense to combine with our love for Multisport.
For the Gravel events the Open Water Swim and Trail Runs will be same as the Off Road Multisport events. For the Gravel riding we will be using a 10 mile loop that features a bit of everything – Gravel Fire Roads, Paved, Singletrack and even the Heckling Woods featured in our BeastCross Cyclocross event. The 12 mile loop will be ridden twice for the long course and once for the sprint.
We’re sure many racers will double up on events and there will also be Trail Runs preceding the Off Road Multisport events on Saturday.
