_ The 2022 Get Out Give Back: Special Olympics Vermont:
Get Out, Give Back gets us up and running throughout the Half Marathon Unplugged winter training season, while bringing awareness to local giving initiatives. These 5K races feature a relaxed, open start line where runners can show up anytime during a 2-hour start window to run their race. And, at the finish line, coffee and hot chocolate await! Walkers are welcome.
This race in our Get Out Give Back series benefits our friends at Special Olympics Vermont, who are part of a global movement that works year-round to foster inclusion and acceptance of people with intellectual disabilities by using the power of sport to showcase their gifts and abilities. Special Olympics Vermont is founded on the belief that people with intellectual disabilities can, with proper instruction and encouragement, learn, enjoy, and benefit from participation in individual and team sports.
