  • A great race with spectacular views, challenging course, and amazing volunteer support, the Long Course consists of a 1.2 mile swim 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run.
  • The race offers $20,000 of Professional prize money, which attracts some of the best Long Distance triathletes from all over the world.
  • It is the third and final race in the Boulder Triathlon Series and has all the amenities you would expect at a world-class event.

    • Course Information:

  • The 1.2 mile swim is a one lap swim in Boulder Reservoir.
  • The bike leg consists of two 28-mile loops providing great exposure for spectators.
  • The course takes you on a beautiful, mostly flat and pretty fast ride with beautiful mountain scenery. There will be a total of 6 aid stations on the 56-mile course.
  • The 13.1 mile (10K) run course is a two loop course, spectators love. Aid Stations each mile along the run.

    From Hwy 36:
  • Head East on Jay Road then turn left onto 51st Street (at the Fire Station).
  • The West Gate entrance to the Reservoir is on the right at the end of the paved road.

  • Head West on Jay Road, take an immediate right onto 51st Street (at the Fire Station).
  • The West Gate entrance to the Reservoir is on the right at the end of the paved road.

  • There will be $16,000 in cash and gift certificates from our sponsors for the top age group finishers in the Series and $30,000 in prize money for the Professional athletes.
