2012 Escape From Ft De Soto Triathlon:
- 26th year of racing at the world famous Ft De Soto Park in St Petersburg Florida.
- Half mile swim in the gulf of mexico, 10 mile bike and a 3.4 mile run.
- This event has sold out for the last 6 years.
- A great way to start the triathlon season in Florida and a great get a way from the chilly days of the north.
Course Information:
- Start with a 12 mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico.
- Followed by a flat & fast 10 mile bike.
- Finish with a 4 mile run that incorporates the 40 stairs at Ft De Soto.
Directions:
- Take Pinellas Bayway Exit from 275 South.
- Look for Signs Toll exit to Fort Desoto Park.
- Go to North Beach.
