The 38th Annual Intimidator - Florida Challenge Triathlon, one of the premier endurance events in the country, at the World Triathlon Destination, Clermont, FL. The Florida Challenge features both a sprint triathlon,and the Intimidator, a 70.3, half-iron distance triathlon. Individual, relay team, and aqua bike (long course only) competition is also available. The race takes place in conjunction with the Great Clermont Triathlon which offers an intermediate (Olympic) distance triathlon and duathlon.

2022 Race Courses:
SWIM - The 1.2 mile swim course is a triangular shaped course in Lake Minneola. Swimmers will swim counter-clockwise, keeping all buoys on their left. Swimmers will complete one lap of the course. The projected water temperature is expected to be 68-78. Wetsuit use is in accordance with USAT rules.
BIKE - The 56 mile loop bike course takes place on the scenic, rural roads of Lake County. The course includes rolling hills and a short, yet challenging climb up Sugarloaf Mountain. The 8 mile sprint bike course is relatively flat and travels around Lake Minneola.
RUN - The run course is an out and back loop course on the South Lake Trail.
Directions:
Clermont is located 20 minutes west of Orlando at the intersection of US HWY 27 and State Road 50. From State Road 50 in Clermont, take East Avenue north one mile to Palm Avenue and the entrance to Waterfront Park. Waterfront Park is on the southern shores of Lake Minneola.
