_ The 2021 Polar Bear Pink Cheeks Triathlon:
Seward Parks & Recreation is proud to start your race season with our annual Pink Cheeks Triathlon. Pink Cheeks is open to ages 13+ and all ability levels.
This year's race will be a traditional triathlon, to help with mitigation. Starting with swim, bike, and run. Times for the swimming portion will be assigned according to the questionnaire filled out at registration. We will email you your race time and other information a week before the race. Please be accurate on your swim time to help smooth transitions. Transition times will be counted in participants' overall results.
Sign up as a team (a team consists of 3 individuals; 1 individual per segment) or compete as a solo in this popular Seward event. Race terrain includes High School cross country trail, city streets, minimal gravel roads, and inclines as you run and bike through the city limits.
5K run, 10K bike (course will vary), but the start and finish will be at Seward High School.
Register early to reserve a spot in this year’s race only 160 spots available this year! See you at the starting line!
Bib pick up will be 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, May 7 at Branson Pavilion, and race day from 8:00 am to 9:45 am at the Seward Middle School | 304 Sea Lion Avenue | Seward, AK 99664.
