_ The 2021 VBT's Tutus & Tennis Shoes 5K:

The Tutus & Tennis Shoes run is a fundraiser for the Victoria Ballet Theatre. Proceeds from this event will be used to involve and enrich Victoria and surrounding communities with outstanding performances of dance and innovative educational opportunities.

Runners (or walkers) of all experience are invited to participate.  This will be a FUN event for everyone! Kids are welcome to participate!!

The Tutus & Tennis Shoes run will be chip-timed for those who like to know their time (5K/ 10K); however, if you’d rather not know your time, you don’t have to follow the results.

The route will take you around historic downtown Victoria, Texas. The roads around historic downtown will be blocked for the safety of the runners.
At the completion of the race there will be a VIP Brunch in beautiful DeLeon Plaza.

There will be a costume contest before the event at 8:30 am where judges will vote on their favorite costumes! Don’t worry, you don’t have to dress up if you don’t want to.

Victoria Ballet Theatre board members, dancers, parents and volunteers will be along the route to guide the runners, cheer them on, and hand out water at water stations.
We are hoping to have a safe, fun run for all of our participants!

Medals for the top three male and top three female finishers in each age bracket will be awarded!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Early Registration (until Dec. 31, 2019): $25
Registration (Jan 1, 2020 - March 31, 2020): $30
Late Registration (April 1-10, 2020): $35
Race Day Registration: $40 (cash ONLY) No shirt/ swag bag 
Add $5.00 for 10K option
Kids 12 & under $15 

T-Shirt cutoff will be March 31, 2020. Please register BEFORE this date in order to receive a race t-shirt!

PACKET PICK UP:
Packet pick up will be the evening before the race, Friday, April 24, 2020 at
Busby Dancenter located at 2508 E. Mockingbird in Victoria, TX from 5-7 pm.
We will set up the packet pick up in the parking lot in a drive thru fashion your convenience.
Packet pick up on race day will be at DeLeon Plaza from 7:30 am to 8:30 am.

For our out of town runners wishing to spend the night our host hotel is Hilton Homewood Suites.
