_ The 2021 Upper Dublin Triathlon/Duathlon/Aquabike:
 

This USAT-sanctioned race is ideal for experienced athletes as well as a great introduction to the sport for newbies.  We have many race options including a triathlon (individual or relay), duathlon and aquabike. 

COVID-19 Protocols: All current local, state and national health & safety protocols will be followed.  Masks will not be required for athletes while racing, but will be required before and after the race.  The Transition Area will be spaced appropriately to comply with all social distancing requirements.  

DISTANCES

• Triathlon - 350 meter Pool Swim, 10.6 Bike & 3.4 mile Run
• Duathlon - 2 mile Run, 10.6 Bike, 3.4 mile Run
• Aquabike - 350 meter Pool Swim, 10.6 mile Bike

Race Registration Deadlines

You must register by 7/30/21 to receive a custom bib. You must register by 8/13/21 to be guaranteed your preferred t-shirt size. Note that race typically sells out before these dates.

Day-Of Timeline

• 5:30 AM TRANSITION AREA OPENS, PACKET PICKUP AND BODY MARKING
• 6:45 AM PACKET PICKUP CLOSES
• 6:45 AM TRANSITION AREA CLOSES
• 7:00 AM NATIONAL ANTHEM
• 7:05 AM PRE-RACE MEETING (mandatory for all athletes)
• 7:25 AM SWIM & DUATHLON START
• 10:30 AM UNOFFICIAL RESULTS POSTED
• 10:45 AM AWARDS CEREMONY

AWARDS

Finisher medal and finisher item for all that complete their respective race.

Triathlon - The following award format is followed:

• Top 3 Overall Male/Female
• Age Groups (3 deep) Male/Female
  • 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+ years old
• Top 3 Clydesdales (Males 220+ lbs)
• Top 3 Athenas (Females 165+ lbs)
• Top 3 Relay Teams (2 or 3 person, non-gender specific)
• Top 3 High School Class Male/Female (currently in 9th to 12th grade)
• Top 3 PC Open Division Male/Female

Duathlon* - The following award format is followed: 

• Top 3 Overall Male/Female
• Age Groups (3 deep) Male/Female
  10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ years old

*If less than 30 finishers, we will only award Top 3 Overall Male/Female for the Duathlon

Aquabike** - The following award format is followed: 

• Top 3 Overall Male/Female

**If more than 30 finishers, we will award age groups in 10 year increments
