_ The 2020 Corporal Cole Memorial 5k & Half Marathon:
Somerset County's Corporal Eugene Cole was killed in the line of duty on April 25th, 2018. This annual race will honor Corporal Eugene Cole and his family. All profits will be given to the Maine Community Foundation towards a scholarship fund in Eugene Cole's name. Corporal Cole's badge number was 1312. Corporal Cole is remembered as a compassionate man, a musician, a husband, a dad, and so much more. He gave the ultimate sacrifice protecting our communities. Lace up your shoes and line the streets with blue to support the Corporal Cole Scholarship, the Cole Family, and all our Law Enforcement Officers.
