_  The 2021 Annual River Cities Triathlon:

Welcome to our 40th Annual Sportspectrum River Cities Triathlon. We are proud to have you as one of the 700 competitors this year. Athletes from 22 different states will participate in one of the biggest individual sporting events in the south. Some of the states include LA, TX, MS, AR, OK, AL, TN, FL, GA, MI, NV, NY, VT, WV, NE, CO, CT, NH, & KY.

The distances for Rivercities are: 1/2 mile swim, 18.2 mile bike, 5k run

New for 2020!! 3-person team relay division. You can create an all male, all female or coed team.

One person does the swim, another does the bike and the last remaining team member does the run. Each person on the team gets a complete race packet and finishers medal!

We are proud to announce that the 2020 Rivercities Tritahlon will be the host event for the Louisiana State High School Championship and the Adult Louisiana Triathlon State Championship!

Residency requirement: To be crowned State Champion an athlete must be a resident of that state. An athlete who wins the race but not does not reside in said state will still receive the AGNC automatic qualification, but the State Champion will be awarded to the highest placing finisher who has residence in the state.

High School Ages: USAT defines eligibility for high school students as June 1st after 8th grade graduation until September 1st after Senior year.

Packet pick up times:

Friday, July 31 from noon - 6:00 p.m. at Sportspectrum

Saturday, August 1st from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Sportspectrum
