_ The 14th Annual St. Patrick's Day 5k, 1m Fun Run/Walk & 200m Kiddie Dash:
THE HISTORY: This is the 14th Annual St. Paddy's Race 5K. The event was developed to help raise money so families could afford to send their children to summer camp and programs.
RACE TIME: 9:00 am...8:45 am kiddie dash
RACE LOCATION: Denton, MD
RACE ENTRY FEE: $ 27.00 for 5K, $12.00 for 1m Fun Run and $37.00 for the Lucky Dog.
TO BENEFIT: Caroline County’s youth to participate in summer programs by offering scholarships.
SPONSOR/HOST: Caroline County Recreation and Parks
RACE COURSE: 3.11 mile out & back 5k course through the streets of historic Denton, MD
RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.
RACE AMENITIES: The 2020 event includes complimentary green pancakes post-race (in partnership with the Chesapeake Culinary Center), a certified 5K race course, a One Mile Fun Run so the whole family can get in on the fitness fun and a 200-meter Leprechaun Dash for the pre-school set to get them racing young.
AWARDS: Overall male and female, Masters, plus top 3 in 10 year age groups 13 under to 70 over.
