_ The 2021 Deep South Triathlon:
One of the South’s premier independent triathlons and Mississippi’s only long course race, The Deep South Triathlon returns to Lakeshore Park in Brandon, MS for its 7th year on Sunday, October 10th 2021. Deep South Tri is known for its athlete-first approach, fantastic volunteer support and its creative and abundant participant SWAG.
The Deep South Triathlon is an independent race that puts the athlete first with each decision that is made. A race truly designed by triathletes and made with the wants and needs of triathletes in mind. We invite you to take a 1.2 mile swim in the serene 33,000 acre Ross Barnett Reservoir, a 56 mile bike ride amid the rolling hills along the rural Mississippi countryside and a 13.1 mile run while on the gently sloping paved and well supported multipurpose trail.
Whether you are racing as an individual or as part of a relay team, an experienced racer looking for that new PR, or a newbie looking to get that spectacular finisher medal, Deep South is the race for you.
