_ The 2021 Newport Resolution Run 10K, 5K & Half Marathon:
Welcome 2021 with a splash! The Newport Resolution Run features three races - Half Marathon, 10k & 5k. This event is always held the first Saturday of the new year.
The 5k & 10k are both flat and fast - perfect to start the new year with a PR. The half marathon on the other hand offers a challenging but fun course. It starts and ends flat but the middle 10k are challenging single track trails!
New for 2021: New finish for all three races. We've eliminated the last 1/3 mile thru the sand dunes. The new finish will have less than 600 feet of sand! Visit this page for more detailed info about our three courses.
REFUND & TRANSFERS
There're no refunds. No exceptions. Participants who cancelled 30 days prior the race will receive 50% credit. This credit can be used towards any of our future races. No credit for cancellation within 30 days of the race.
Transfers.
Transfers are allow up to our transfer deadline. There's a $10.00 transfer fee. Transfer deadline is December 13, 2020.
