Revolution3 is back and ready for it's second year in Portland, OR! We are excited to come back with our new and improved course. This year we will be offering a prize purse of $50,000 for the professional athletes competing. We will also be offering prizes from our amazing sponsors going three deep in each age group.
The race will begin with athletes swimming the 1.2 mile required course in the 64 acre, spring fed Blue Lake. They will start the race from the beach at Blue Lake Regional Park. The swim is an out and back in a rectangle shape.
Athletes will have 9 miles of relatively flat terrain before the first climb. You will experience a series of long climbs, technical descents, switchbacks, and breathtaking scenery with views of Mt. Hood. There is a total of 2500 feet of climbing before you get to spin your legs out on flat roads for the last 13 miles of the bike course to get ready for the run. This bike course is challenging but fair and visually spectacular.

After completing the 56 mile bike portion, athletes will run 13.1 miles along Marine Dr. and adjacent to the mighty Columbia River while taking in gorgeous views of Portlands skyline and Mt. Hood.
