_ The 2020 Sam's 5K Run:
5K loop run and 2 mile walk loop through Laurel to benefit Step In, a program designed to increase community awareness of suicide prevention and the importance of mental health. Participants can race or walk the course and enjoy light snacks following the run/walk The race starts and ends at the Grace Bible Church in Laurel. There will be an informal Kids Run just prior to the start of the 5K. Please join us to increase awareness and come together as a community to show support for mental health and making healthy choices!
Packet Pick up TBA as the date gets closer. Please note that if the race is not held on September 30 due to health restrictions, the race will become "virtual" and you will still receive your shirt.
GUARANTEED SHIRT SIZES FOR ALL THOSE REGISTERED BY SEPTEMBER 10! We order extra shirts and they will be available on a "first come first serve" basis at packet pickup for everyone who registers after September 10. You will be asked for your shirt size even if you register after 9/10, but we can't guarantee you will get one or the size you indicate. Sign up early if you want a guaranteed shirt - and you do because they are SUPER cool!! There is an option for a LONG SLEEVE SHIRT this year as well! If there are extras after race participants get shirts, they will be for sale at the race! Thank you all for the support!
