_ The 2020 Coors Light Trail of Tears Triathlon:
• This USAT sanctioned race is held at Trail of Tears State Park.
• This triathlon consists of a 700 meter swim, 15 mile bike ride, and 4 mile run.
• Registration begins at 6:45 a.m.
• Race starts at 9 a.m.
• Lunch is provided for participants.
Course Information:
Swim:
• 700 meter open water lake swim in Lake Boutin.
Bike:
• 15 mile bike beginning on the closed roads of Trail of Tears State Park.
• First 2.5 miles feature rolling hills through the park.
• The majority of the rest of the course is flat and fast with a few hills towards the end and one good one around mile marker 11.
Run:
• 4 mile run mainly on the closed roads of the park.
• The last 3 miles are downhill to the finish next to the Mississippi River.
