From The Race Website: "COVID-19 Updates: We regret to inform you that the 2020 East Coast Triathlon Festival is cancelled. Since the onset of COVID-19, our team has worked diligently with the local government, venue, and USA Triathlon to make this race possible. Unfortunately, the current race date is within Virginia’s ban on events with more than 50 people and postponing the race is not possible at this time. This event is extremely important to us at the Live Red Foundation. We spend 365 days preparing to make this event perfect for you. More so, this event is the major fundraiser for our free community programs which teach essential life skills to children in at-risk communities. For those registered, please see the email sent to you with refund options. We want to give a heartfelt thank you for supporting our event, many of you for the past 9 years. We wish you the best of luck with the remainder of your season and look forward to seeing you back next year on May 2, 2021."
