_ The 2020 MAC Dash:
The MAC Dash sprint triathlon is held the second Saturday in September at the beautiful Madras Aquatic Center (MAC). Race day is September 12, 2020. This volunteer-organized, community event benefits MAC youth programming.
We have three FREE events designed for youth: The High School MAC Dash is for all athletes in grades 9-12 and racers will complete the entire course. The Middle MAC Dash is a timed event designed for youth in grades 6-8 who are ready for the next level of competition as racers will complete a modified short version of the course. The Mini MAC Dash is an untimed free event for younger children and occurs after the other events.
Madras, located in the scenic high desert of Central Oregon, is host to this fun, fast paced triathlon. On each leg of the MAC Dash, racers enjoy views of nine snow-peaked mountains and the surrounding area. September is a wonderful time of year in Madras, with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures.
Registration Deadlines - Early Registration ends Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Registration closes Sunday, September 6, 2020.
Triathlon registration will close the Sunday preceding the race at 11:59pm PST. There is no race day registration. Registration must be made on-line. Triathlon participation will be limited to 250 individuals/teams.
