Celebrating the Spirit of Fourth of July Altus's Spirit Sprint promises the charm of a small-town race with the atmosphere of the Air Force's Premier Mobility Training location. As the race takes you through town and into the countryside and back some of the Air Force's largest aircraft train in the distance. You finish at Altus lake in town where Altus hold the American Spirit Festival, Altus’s 4th of July celebration ending with a fireworks demonstration after dusk. Come join us and welcome to America's hometown.
We are a pool swim and a very flat fast course. The finish line will be at Hoyt Shadid Park/Altus Lake, but there will be a shuttle back to the Aquatic Center. There will also be a Kid’s Triathlon the day prior at 4:00pm at the Aquatic Center. For more details, follow
