From The Race facebook page: "We hope this time finds you healthy and well. Until now, we have been in a holding pattern of sorts to see what the best move forward for the FCA BisMan Triathlon might be. It is imperative that we put on a safe, fun event - but also an economically viable event, as this event is a fundraiser for the local nonprofit FCA of North Dakota.
Because travel and participation is down during this strange time, because sponsor dollars are more difficult to come by, and finally because of our commitment to the safety of the event, our leadership team has decided to cancel the 2020 FCA Triathlon.
This decision was not made lightly, and we understand that losing another local race is a big upset (we are upset, too). This was to be our first year as North Dakota's only USAT sanctioned race.
We are already discussing the possibilities for next year's event and hope you can put us in your calendar for 2021. We'll look forward to seeing you all on the road and maybe for an open water swim or two this season."
