_ The 2020 Tri Tilghman:
A unique way to explore the Bay Hundred area of Talbot County, Maryland, is the Tri Tilghman. This activity begins with a 3 mile kayak course that will start at the Knapp's Narrows Drawbridge, through the Narrows into Harris Creek and back to the start. After that, you will hop on your bicycle and complete a 10 mile scenic bike ride. Then cap off the event with a 3.1 mile (5k) run through the small village of Tilghman's Island.
You have the choice of participating in the entire event or to compete in any of the 3 challenges separately.
All of the challenges will start and finish at the new location of Phillips Wharf Environmental Center. There will be plenty of post-race activities for you and your family along with an opportunity to explore this little known gem of the Eastern Shore!
STAND UP PADDLEBOARDERS ARE WELCOME!!! You MUST supply your own SUP if you plan on racing on one.
FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR PARTICIPANTS, ALL PERSONS SHOULD BRING A LIFE JACKET FOR THE KAYAK/SUP PORTION AND A BICYCLE HELMET FOR THE BIKE PORTION OF THE TRI TILGHMAN EVENT.
