_ The 2020 Sage City Triathlon:
Kirby Medical Center and the City of Monticello proudly offer the annual KMC Sage City Triathlon. The venue is well designed for beginner triathletes and elite competitors, and everything in between. The shallow depth pool makes this an ideal starting point for any triathlete concerned about the swim, and the condition of the course offers an opportunity for elite triathletes to find a new PR.
Packet pickup will be at the Kirby Medical Center at 1000 Medical Center Drive, Monticello, IL 61856 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm on Friday and race morning from 6:00am – 7:00am at the Monticello Aquatic Center at 601 W. Railroad St, Monticello.
The transition area will open at 5:30am on race morning. Athlete marking will begin at 6:00am in the pool building located alongside the transition area.
The races will begin at 7:15 (Mini) and 8:00 (Sprint).
Post-race food will be available for athletes, to include subway sandwiches, chips and drinks.
Awards for the Mini Tri will take place at approximately 8:30am. Awards for the Sprint Tri will take place at approximately 10:00am. All award times are subject to change based on race conditions, finisher times, and other elements that make exact times almost impossible to predict.
This race is not USAT sanctioned. You do not need to buy a one-day pass or provide your USAT number for registration or packet pickup.
