At this point we are waiting on LA County Parks to open the parks (we host this event at Castaic Lake, which is a county park). Signs are looking good that LA County will open up the parks by July 1, and hopefully we will be able to have our event, and you can start your season with a sprint tri!
Course Information:
Swim:
• 400 meter open water swim at Paradise Cove of Lower Lake Castaic.
Bike:
• 10 mile bike ride.
• Secure transition area.
• Traffic control by L.A. County Sheriffs.
Note:
• The part of the Bike route that circles the prison is unavailable for practice rides.
Run:
• 3 mile run on the paths of Lake Castaic Park.
