_ The 2020 Shamrock Run 5K/10K:
Join us for a fun run through Historic Downtown Gallatin, TN. Dress up in your most creative St. Patrick's Day attire and help us raise money for grants which will be awarded to Gallatin teachers to fund innovative educational programs.
This primarily flat course is great for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The 10K participants will run the 5K course twice and have 90 minutes to complete the race. Participants in the 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and have 60 minutes to finish. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers male and female, and awards will be given for the best St. Patrick's Day costume and the most team spirit.
Event details and schedule
Registration, the morning of the event, will open at 6:15 am. The 10K race will start promptly at 7:15 am with the 5K run/walk kicking off at 7:30 am. Roads will close at 7:00 am in and around the racecourse. (Map and Parking information will be provided by mid-February) Please, note the NEW start location is Gallatin City Hall, 132 W Main Street in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Participants must register by February 11, 2020, to be guaranteed a race shirt.
Packet Pick Up: Thursday, March 12th, 2 pm to 5 pm, Friday, March 13th, 10 am to 5 pm, and 6:15 am on Saturday, March 14th.
