_ The 2020 PBCS Easter Egg 5K Run/Walk:
This is the second annual PBCS Easter Egg 5K Run/Walk. The funds raised will help to provide quality education for children in preschool through grade eight. The course will start at the school, turn onto Waldo Ave/Warrenton Ave, turn onto Commercial St/Camden St, turn onto Glen St, turn back onto Waldo Ave and finish back at the school. The course includes both Rockland and Rockport, back roads and main roads, ocean views and country views. The route is mostly flat with a few small inclines and declines. After the 5K, there will be an Easter egg hunt on-site for children and their families to enjoy.
Event details and schedule
The Easter Egg 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9:00 am, with registration opening at 7:30 am. The event will start and finish at Pen Bay Christian School. Parking will be on-site. The first 50 participants to register online will receive a race day t-shirt. Prizes will be issued to the top male and female of each age division and also to the overall top male and female.
