_ The 2020 Chautauqua Gran Fondo:
The sixth annual Chautauqua Gran Fondo, Saturday, August 22, 2020, is a community event designed to promote health and well being for cyclists of all skill levels while raising funds for local non-profit organizations.
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Chautauqua Lake and it's surrounding historic destinations on one of 3 scenic routes. There will be plenty of rest stops, photo ops and full SAG support on the road.
Three distances make this a perfect event for any level rider. Each route will direct riders through a number of notable historic destinations around Chautauqua Lake. In addition to safety services, food and refreshments will be available at various points along the tour. Each cyclist is allowed to choose their own path: there is the 25-Mile Social Route, the 40-Mile Fitness Route, and the 60-Mile Challenge Route. Riders should take into account their skill level and determination before setting off from Mayville.
Following the ride, participants and members of the community are welcome to enjoy a picnic lunch, refreshments and entertainment at Webb's Captain's Table in Mayville, New York.
