_ The 2020 Louisiana Triathlon:
800 meter open water swim, 18 mile ride around False River, and 5k run in New Roads.
*Beginner Division: 400m swim / 18 mile ride / 5k run
This is for those stepping up to open water for the first time or not up for the full 800m open water swim. This Division will be the last wave into the water so no worries about another swim wave coming up behind you.
*Duathlon Division: 18 mile ride / 5K run
This will be a BIKE/RUN only (not the traditional run/bike/run) to accommodate the road closures in the City of New Roads. Race start at 7:40.
Awards for the Beginner Division and the Duathlon are limited to 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall by gender - no age group awards. If you would like to be eligible for age group awards you will need to register for the standard distance with the 800m swim.
