_ The 2019 CyTri Charity Pub Crawl:
The Cypress Triathlon Annual Charity Event takes place on the scenic Towne Lake Boardwalk. What started as a 5k, has morphed into a pub crawl, but still helps raise awareness and funds to support our charity of choice. For 2019, we are giving our proceeds to Fck Cancer.
This year the crawl starts at Sam’s Boat and then stops at a variety of establishments to finish at World of Beer. The event includes one drink (wine, beer, or soft drink) at each stop and post-race festivities at World of Beer. And for those of you who are competitive, join in the best dressed male and female contest for the chance to win fun prizes! This is CyTri’s top fundraiser and hasn’t been sold out yet – but don’t risk it! There is a 100-participant limit, so register early to ensure a spot.
Event details and schedule
6:15pm - all participants meet at Sam's Boat at the outside bar for our first taste and remain here for approx 20 minutes. We will continue to the next stops every 20 minutes, ending at World of Beer.
Plan to wear either the customary red dress and running shoes (because we like to pretend it is still a 5k run), or gold (childhood cancer) or purple (Hodgkin's Lymphoma).
