_ The 2020 Family Fun Walk:
The Ronald McDonald House of Springfield will host the third annual Red Shoe 5k Run & Walk on Saturday, April 11, 2020.
8:00 am – Registration begins
9:00 am – 5K race begins
9:10 am – Family Fun Walk
Post-race activities will be available for the entire family. Awards will be distributed to the three fastest participants in both the male and female categories. Participants receive a commemorative t-shirt*. RMHC red and white striped socks are available for purchase during registration and at the event.
This 5k walk/run will kick off at the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield, before climbing up Chapin Terrace, winding through Van Horn Park, then returning down Chapin Terrace to end at the House. The family fun walk follows the same path from Ronald McDonald House of Springfield up Chapin Terrace before taking a shorter path within the park.

*Registrations received after March 29, 2020 are not guaranteed a shirt. We will attempt to accommodate all requests, but due to production deadlines, we cannot guarantee certain sizes. Shirts are first come first serve for individuals who register after March 29.
