Come enjoy beautiful Dauphin Island, Alabama on the third weekend of October for the 5th annual Tri the Gulf triathlon. The event features a 600 yard swim in protected Gulf of Mexico waters utilizing the "cable-tow" approach, followed by a 16.7 mile bike ride on the Island and the Dauphin Island Bridge, followed by a 5K run on the Island followed by a great after-the-event party and awards ceremony. Great looking finishers' medal and swag for all participants. Hosted by the Mobile Bar Foundation, Inc. All proceeds benefit charitable-civic endeavors in the Mobile-Southwest Alabama area. Presenting sponsor is Infirmary Health Systems, Inc.
