We are pleased to share with you the new 2020 race date for IRONMAN 70.3 Florida which is now scheduled to take place on December 13, 2020. All registered athletes of the 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 Florida triathlon will be receiving an email with further information. If you have additional questions or do not receive the email with further information, please contact [email protected]. Based on the mandate from the City of Haines City in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 Florida, originally scheduled for April 19 will not take place as planned.
Located just minutes from the world famous theme parks of Central Florida, Haines City provides plenty of activities for you and your family to enjoy all weekend long.
Course Information:
The swim start is located on a white sand beach next to the Lake Eva Park. The water is expected to be 80 degrees F on race day, so do not expect to wear a wetsuit.
The bike course will travel through eastern Polk County on rural roads. You will travel through residential and country roads passing orange groves, lakes and golf courses. Keep your head up as the course is very fast with only a few gently rolling hills.
The 13.1-mile run will take place on paved trails and roads around Lake Eva.The finish line will be right next to the Bandshell at Lake Eva Park.
