_ The 2019 Wallowa Lake Sprint Tri and 5k:
A fun-filled, family-friendly, low-key sprint triathlon in beautiful Wallowa County, Oregon. The perfect event for first-timers with a quick 250 meter swim in brisk but refreshing Wallowa Lake, a 12 mile road bike ride along the Lake to the city of Joseph and back, and a 5k run through the Wallowa Lake Resort area.
The 5k run will take place during the triathlon and use the same route through the resort area.
This event is a fundraiser for Safe Harbors agency, providing services for victims of domestic and sexual violence in Wallowa County and all proceeds are used to help fund the construction of a new shelter facility.
Come for the race and stay for the weekend to experience all that Wallowa County has to offer including the Eagle Cap Wilderness, Hells Canyon Recreational Area, Grande Ronde Wild and Scenic River, and the Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness area.
Event details and schedule
Online registration will end at 12:00 am on July 30, 2019. After that date you can only register at packet pickup on Friday, August 2 or the morning of race day, with an additional charge for late registration. T-SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED FOR REGISTRATIONS AFTER JULY 11, 2019.
Packet pickup at the marina at Wallowa Lake State Park on Friday, August 2 and late registration from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Packets can also be picked up race morning
