As the situation surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to evolve, I am writing with an update on Red Hills Triathlon, which was scheduled for 4/18/2020, in Tallahassee, FL. Please know the health and safety of you and our community is the highest priority. As a special event with a City of Tallahassee/Leon County, State of Florida/Department of Environmental Protection permit, I am required to abide by emergency declarations. The State of Florida has cancelled all events held within the state park system. 

Unfortunately, the 20th Red Hills Triathlon was cancelled as a result of mandates by local/state government and the recommended CDC guidelines. Rescheduling in 2020 is not a viable option based on permitting and venue availability.

 For 20 years, Red Hills Triathlon has offered triathletes in this region, a quality, safe event. We expanded in 2019, offering a shorter version of the same great race. Get your triathlon journey started right here! Its your  "Time to TRI" the Red HillsTriathlon Super Sprint!  We are here to help you through every step as you explore the sport of triathlon. Maybe you have been out of the sport for a few years and are looking to dive back in. Start right here!  Time to Tri! Time to Tri will take place on the same course and same day as the Red Hills Triathlon. You will begin the journey swimming 1/4 mile in Lake Hall. Water temperatures are usually in the low 70's this time of year. You will then cycle one loop, 9.6 miles, of the Red Hills course, followed by an out and back, paved 2 mile run!
