WHAT: All camps are put on by the Ruble Triathlon Coaching staff and focused on higher volume triathlon training to take advantage of our time in Florida.  Each day is filled with training and usually finished off with an optional group dinner.

These camps will get you a head start on your 2020 season.  Great for anyone looking to race an early season 70.3 or Ironman - or just something to provide motivation during the winter training months.  Every camp is catered to ability and speed levels attending, keep reading below sections for more info on that.

WHERE: Swim at the National Training Center's 50 meter outdoor pool, Lucky's Lake, and Lake Minneola.  Ride the best roads and paved trails in Florida with plenty of climbing  These include Sugar Loaf Mountain, Buckhill road, and Waterfront park.  Run at Waterfront Park, the Clay Trail loop with rolling hills through the orange groves, and other dirt and gravel roads in the area.

WHEN: Within the camp are the two longer 8 or 7 day options from March 1/2nd through March 8th AND a 4 day option(March 5th through March 8th).  All workouts and routes are planned and fully supported with vehicle SAG and nutrition. This camp is great for anyone looking to race an early season 70.3 or Ironman - or just something to provide motivation during the winter..

First workouts of the different camps options will start at 7-8am, the final workout of camp finishes by 1pm on Sunday March 8th.  The final workout will finish at the NTC and showers are available for those catching flights soon after as well as bike and bag dropoff on site for those using that service.

HOW FAR AND FAST: The camp consists of higher volume training - expect to ride 400 miles, run 30-50 miles, and swim 13,000-22,000 meters during the 8 days.   I do offer shorter options/shortcuts to keep the group together on most workouts and accommodate different situations. Everyone attending the camps should have 70.3 and Ironman experience with a recent sub 6.5 hour 70.3 or showing similar ability in workouts.  You can always contact me at[email protected] or through the contact form on this website if unsure.

WHO: All camps are led by Ruble Triathlon Coaching (Zach Ruble and assistant coaches added per total participants), and will have a mix of the above mentioned ability triathletes.  The past 4 years camps have been hard work but nobody takes themselves too seriously.

I will have hired extra SAG and mechanical support to handle total camp numbers. With the drafting on the bike workouts and shorter workout options available we can accommodate a fairly wide range of ability within each camp.  Each camp is limited to ~20 people

WHAT YOU GET: Pool access, all workout nutrition from First Endurance and other sources, workout planning and routing, mechanic service and multiple vehicle SAG support on all rides and runs, 1 Free Dinner, 1-2 post swim Panera coffee/bagels, camp t-shirt, camp swim cap, camp cycling socks, camp cycling jersey, coaching instruction with full access to coaches(Zach Ruble/Ruble Triathlon and assistant coaches) for questions, swim video to be critiqued and emailed after camp, and TBD extra's from my sponsors.
