The 2019 Glens Falls Urban Assault will take place on May 25th, 2019! Start time – 5pm. Registration will open soon!

The Glens Falls Urban Assault is a 3.5 mile obstacle course that takes place in and around the City of Glens Falls. A portion of race proceeds to benefit the Crandall Park Beautification Committee and the Adirondack Vet House.

Participants will encounter ropes courses, stairs, slip-n-slide, climbing walls and much more as they make their way through the course. There are more than 20 obstacles. Prizes will be awarded to best dressed team and individuals (male/female). Awards will be given to the top  male & female runners in the following age groups – Under 13, 13 – 18, and 19 +. With both the Start and Finish on Glen Street, it promises to be great time downtown.

We encourage everyone to try the obstacles. If for some reason you can not do the obstacle, we’ll have you do something else (push ups, squat thrusts, etc…). None of the obstacles are that difficult. This is meant to be a fun family friendly event. So we expect to see lots of smiling faces!

Event details and schedule

Race Day registration will be available. Race Day registration will be available – $40 for adults and $25 for kids. Registration and Bib pick up will be located in the lobby of the Wood Theater @ 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls beginning at 3pm. The Wood Theater is located across the street from Grey Ghost Bicycles  and the Bullpen.

Registration/Bib Pick-up will take place beginning at 3pm. The runners will be assigned a wave and given a bracelet corresponding to that wave. It is the runners responsibility to be in the right wave. However, we will still have you go through a corral to make sure everyone is in the correct wave.

The bib you receive will have a chip on the back of it. Try not to lose your bib during the race. If you do lose your bib, please tell the timer your bib number when you cross the finish line. Our timers will be Underdog Race Timing and they will post results after the race.

We encourage everyone to stick around town afterward to enjoy the many restaurants and businesses in the downtown area.
