Who is Safe Passage?
Safe Passage, founded in 1999 by Yarmouth native Hanley Denning, provides comprehensive education, health and enrichment programs to nearly 500 students from 300 families living in the community around the Guatemala City garbage dump—one of the largest open landfills in Central America. Your donations provide hope, education, and opportunity to our students and their families in the Guatemala City garbage dump community.
